Consider Your Choices
It’s important to start by showing your support. Come with her for her pregnancy test. If she truly is pregnant, then she is already being overwhelmed by hormone changes. Having your physical support will reassure her that you care. There are several options from this point forward and you should be part of the process to get more information on them and help make an informed decision.
If she is pregnant and wants to parent the child, you may not know how you feel about fatherhood right now. That's OK – parenting is tough at any age, but if you do become a dad before you intend to, we're here to help. The important thing to remember is that the life growing inside her depends on you as much as it does on her. We'll help you understand the changes going on in mom and baby, give you information on fatherhood and get you connected with area resources to help you care for the baby once he's born.
